About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Düs to Shg with Cathay transfer in Hkg, visum free 144h stay?

Dear Sir, Dear Madam,

I'm a Dutch Citizen who intends to fly from Europe to Shanghai with Cathay Pacific (transfer at Hongkong Airport with connecting flight to Shanghai, i will not get out in Hongkong)

I intend to leave Shanghai within 144 hours to proceed my stay in Hongkong before flying back to Europe.

Am i allowed to enter Shanghai for a visit of 144 hours without applying for a China visum in Europe?

Lucia, you mean you will travel like Europe-HK-Shanghai-HJ-Europe? If yes, you won’t be able to enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
