72 hour visa (DUS-PVG-HKG-FRA-DUS)

Hi, may i apply the 72 hour visa if i depart from Dusseldorf, stopover in Shanghai, then end at Hong Kong. Return from Hong Kong to Dusseldorf via Frankfurt?
