About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling from Japan through Shanghai back to Germany

Hello, I am German and traveling from Tokyo to Shanghai (for 3 days) and then back to Germany. Am I allowed to apply for the 144 hours visa?

Raphael, yes, you can apply for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that.
