About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

shanghai cruise transit

Australian citizens arriving via cruise ship to Shanghai arriving 0700 and departing at 2300 same day . Are we able to obtain a 24 hour direct transit, if so are Immigration officers on the wharf to issue visa for our passports.

Linda, if the last country you come from is different from the next one you will go, you may be able to get the 24 hour direct transit, but you are advised to double check that with the cruise ship company. The immigration officers won’t issue a visa on your passport, nut stamp on your passport.
