And would like to see Luzhi Town on the same day. Is that doable? what order should I do it? what times are needed -1 to get from shanghai (staying near Fuxing park)2 to visit each place3 to get from place to place4 to get back to Shanghai

One day is not enough to visit suzhou gardens and Luzhi Town, especially you take the public transportation. If you have two days, you can finish all these sites. Trains between Shanghai and Suzhou is very convenient. It only takes around half an hour.
