About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruising from Singapore and returning from Shanghai

Hi, Me and my husband have been receiving conflicting advice from the Visa Centre and Royal Caribbean personnel. We will be flying from UK to Singapore, board the Mariner of the Seas, cruising to Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan and finally arriving Shanghai and to stay 2 nights in the hotel in Shanghai before flying back to UK. Do we fall within the 144-hr Free Transit? Please confirm soonest as we will be travelling soon.

Liena, yes, you will qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that.
