7 hours transit in Beijing going to Budapest, how to apply for temporary entry pass?

Hi,

I am a Philippine passport holder. Travelling to Budapest, Hungary from Singapore and will be in transit for 7hrs in Beijing. I am assuming I am qualified for the 24 hours direct transit. If I want to go out of the airport for a few hours of city tour in Beijing, how and where do I need to apply for the temporary entry pass?

Jeszi, after arriving at Beijing airport, you should go to the immigration office by following directions to apply for the temporary stay permit. You just need to show your passport, the air tickets and valid visa for Hungary.

Thanks Julio. Appreciate your clear guide.

Any idea if 7hrs transit time would be enough for me to tour any part of the Great Wall? I don't wanna waste this opportunity to go out and see this beautiful part of China. I've always been fascinated by history and this great work of the Chinese people.
