About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Hong Kong-Shanghai-Beijing-London

Hi. I was planning to visit Hong Kong, then Shanghai for 72 hours, then Beijing for 72 hours then back to London. Will this be ok under the 72 hour visa rule as I'm travelling between different zones ?

No, it is not okay with the 72 hour free transit. You can only transit in either Shanghai or Beijing if you want to enjoy free transit facility.
