los angeles to shanghai with a layover

I have my flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai with a previous stop of 2 hours in Beijing, I am planning to stay in shanghai only 2 days then i am flying to manila. am i eligible for the 72h free visa in Shanghai?

Sorry, I'm afraid you do not qualify for the 72h free transit because the layover in Beijing.
