About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Expatriate with Hong Kong Work Visa Visiting Beijing

Hi,

I am currently in Hong Kong with a 6 month work visa. I plan to visit Beijing in March for under 72 hours.
Will I be eligible to use the free 72 hour visa?
Also, I plan to visit the Great Wall of China, is this classed as an administrative part of Beijing?

Thanks
Sandeep

Sandeep, if you come from one of the aforesaid countries and travel like HK-Beijing-a third country or region rather than HK, you will be able to enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing and then you can visit the Great Wall of China during the 72 hours.
