About:China Work Visa

Hello there. I was assigned as an expatriate to work in China.

Would you advise me whether I should apply the visa in my home country before depart to PRC or I saw one of your advice above:

"you need to get a work certificate at the local labor bureau, which takes about three working days. Next, you should go to the Exit and Entry Administration to apply for the residence permit, which takes about 15 working days."

So in order to work in PRC, i must obtain Z type & residence permit, am i right?

Thanks

Wk, yeah, if you want to work in PRC, you have to obtain Z type. And after your entry to PRC, you need to go to the exit and entry administration to apply for a residence permit.
