About:Visa Policy of China

Hi . will be arriving Shanghai by cruiseship in the morning.

have a british passport and flying back to the uk at midnight. is this covered under the visa exemption. many thanks

This situation is pretty tricky. As you will leave the ship to catch the flight, you will go through the immigration, so I think the visa is required.
