US - Shanghai - Taiwan - Shanghai - US?

Can I get visa free transit twice in a row? If I come from the US to Shanghai stay for less than 6 days then go to Taiwan for a few days then come back to Shanghai for less than 6 days then back to the US will that be acceptable? Thanks for your help!
