About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Chinese Embassy in Japan

My name is Viren from India. I am currently holding student visa in Japan.
I am planning to attend educational program i.e. Global Health Education Program 2017 schedule in Peking University, China. I have a couple of following questions:
Invitation letter issued from Chinese university can serve as proof of your financial standing, transportation and accommodation arrangement, etc.
Also, is certificate of residency from city ward is mandatory document.

Viren, the JW form from the school can serve as proof of your financial standing, but you need to provide air ticket to prove your transportation.
If you apply for it in Japan, the residence permit from Japan is needed.

Dear Neal, thanks for your reply.
However, Chinese Visa Application Service Center (Tokyo, Japan) does not mention any requirement for air tickets as a supporting document. Kindly clarify this query.

Dear, if the CVASC doesn’t require air tickets, you don’t need to provide that.
