About:China Transit Visa

I am an Indian citizen living in USA on a work visa.

Hi
I am transiting through China on my way to India with two layovers
1) Shanghai(4h 25 m)
2) Kunming( 9h 45 m)
Would I qualify for visa free transit and/or temporary stay permit if I want to leave the transit zone.

Sandep, you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in China. You can apply for a temporary stay permit to leave the airport.
