Free transit back to Portugal

Luis, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing if you fly like Ulan Bator –Beijing (72 hours) -Portugal.

Hello. Thank you but I'm not sure that your answer is right. On the portuguese embassy they tol me that I cannot have free tansit because I'm returning to portugal. If I went Portugal, Pequim, Ulan Bator, than I could have free transit, but as I'm flying Ulan-Bator, Pequi, Portugal, I cannot. I called the Beijing airport, but they answered in chinese, so I'm still in doubt. Does anyone made it back to their own countryu and had free transit?

Luis, you mean you will travel like Portugal-Pequi-Ulan Bator –Beijing- Ulan Bator -Pequi-Portugal? If so, you won’t qualify for the free transit in Beijing.

Hi. I will fly Porto Moscow... then, train to UlAN BATOR. And then, I will take a flight ULAN BATOR (MONGÓLIA) TO BEIJING. I will spend less than 72 hours in Beijing and I will take a flight to PORTUGAL (BEIJING - MOSCOW, MOSCOW - ZURICH, ZURICH - OPORTO).
On Moscow I will not have a VISA for RUSSIA because I will not leave the international zone as the flights Beijing Moscow and Moscow - Zurich are by the same airplane company).
So, the Chinese Embassy in Portugal says I cannot use 72 hours VISA free because I'm returning to Portugal, and the Chinese Embassy in Washington says YES I CAN! It's really strange. As the phone of Beijing Airport Immigration Inspection (0086-10-56095400) only answers in Chinese, I cannot call them. Can someone call them to verify? Thanks
