About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am holding Chinese passport & Singapore PR, will take flight from SIN - HK- SIN.

Have valid Hk entry permit, would like to take ferry to Macau from HK for 3 days only. Just to check if I am eligible for 72 hours visa free to visit Macau (it means that no need to apply Macau entry permit) ?

For Macau, you can only be in "transit", I.e. HK-Macau-Zhuhai-HK or HK-Zhuhai-Macau-HK. Chinese passports can only be used when transiting to a third destination and Macau does not issue entry permits like HK does.
