About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be traveling with a group of 5 17-year-old US citizens to Osaka, Japan

with an 18 hour layover in Beijing. We would like to take advantage of the transit without visa policy while in Beijing, but are concerned that we might be refused because we are underage? Is there an age restriction?

Alejo, I don’t think it will be a problem for you if you have the consent letter from your parents.
