About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I have a 5 hour layover at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport before my next flight to Chengdu.

Will I need to go through customs and security even if my check in luggage has been sent to chengdu? What is the procedure after I arrive?

It is an international to domestic transfer at CAN, right? And yes, you need to go through the customs and security check. The baggage is needed to reclaim at Baiyun Airport.
