About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'm traveling to Japan with a 4 hour layover in Beijing.

I'm traveling to Japan, I'm a holder of a India passport. I have a layover in Beijing. Do I need a visitor visa? Or something? If so, where do I get one?

No, you don't need it. If you don't leave the airport, nothing is required. You just need to show your connecting flight ticket, passport, and visa for India (if required) when going through the immigration check.
