About:China Transit Visa

Passport validity for transit through airport

I am travelling to Japan for two weeks next year with a 3hr stop over in China.
I will be using the 24hr visa exemption.

My passport expires 2 months later.
I know that Japan does not require passport validity beyond your stay any longer, but does China?

Tony, China also doesn't require passport validity as long as you can leave before your passport expires. However, to avoid possible troubles, you had better renew your passport if time permits.
