About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am a south african and am travelling to Korea to apply for my student visa.

I have the stamped government letters but not an ARC. Should this be a problem or for a student (X2) type is it ok not to have the ARC?

I think it's ok. You can just have a try at the CVASC office in South Korea.
