About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying from USA to Shanghai staying less than 144 hours then to Tiawan,

Do I need a regular Visa? What areas can I go to around Shanghai. I'm interested in the water towns. Thanks

Ann, you don’t need it because you will qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that. You can visit Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang when using the 144 hour free transit.
