About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

USA to Hong Kong to Shenzhen

Hello-
I am traveling from the USA by flight to Hong Kong and then by car to Shenzhen. Will I need a visa or do these free transit apply? I will only be in the entire region for a total of 72 hours.

Greg, you need to apply for a tourist L type for that. There is no 72 hour free transit in Shenzhen.
