I'm arriving on Air Asia and transferring to United Airlines.

I only have a standby ticket on United Airlines. Is that ok for transferring? I don't have a visa

Passengers with confirmed tickets are eligible to the 24h visa-free policy.

If you hold a standy ticket, you cannot enjoy free transit in China. In this case, you still need a visa.
