tax refund

Question

I bought a Louis Vuitton purse in Beijing and went through the proper procedures for my tax return at the Beijing airport on September 25, 2016. I was told I would receive the duty refund in 30 days, however I have yet to receive it. I save the paper work and plan to follow up. We were scammed many times while visiting  China. Do you know if they scam people on the refund as well, or can it actually take more than 60 days?

Sharon, sometimes it should take a long time to get the tax refund. There is an invoice number on the tax refund form, you may check the procedure using this number. Or, you are suggested to call the refund agency to see what is happening.
