About:Visa Policy of China

south african passport holder via beijing

Hi I am travelling to Thailand via Beijing on a south African passport with a 14 hour lay over there and on the way back .

Do I need to apply for a transit visa as im hearing different things from many people.

Please help asap

No, you don’t need to apply for it because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing.
