About:China Transit Visa

Hi am am flying from Australia to Shanghai via Guanzhou (1,5 h layover)

and have a ticket back to Europe after Shanghai within 72h.
Will i need visa in Guanzhou or can first apply in Shanghai for a 144 h free transit?

Magda, no, you won’t be able to apply for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that because you will transit in both Guangzhou and Shanghai. You need to apply for a tourist L type for that in advance.
