About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a single entry visa for China and will land in Guanghzou!

I want to see a friend in Honkong. What is the best way, if my flight out of China is again from Guanghzou?thanks in advance for your advice!

Get a non-stop flight from Guangzhou to HK (or vice versa) then you will qualify for 72-hour TWOV on at least one part of your trip. If not, you may still be eligible for the 24-hour TWOV if you take the Guangzhou-HK train on your trip back after you've used your visa. It is possible to request 72-hour TWOV instead of using your visa when passing through Chinese immigration at Guangzhou airport.
