About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

from japan to hk ..do i need to apply for visa or need an invitation letter

Usually, the invitation letter is not necessary. If you go there for not more than 14 days, no visa will be needed because Philippines passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not exceeding 14 days.
