i have 1 hr 45 min connection in beijing capital airport.

Question

Arriving from Shenzhen at 12.45pm, and leaving for Toronto at 14.30pm). Have only carry-on bag with me (no checked-in baggage). Will I be fine to transfer from terminal 1 to terminal 2 and get on my flight?

It's a domestic to international transfer at PEK from T1 to T2. Generally speaking, you need at least 2 hours to catch your next flight. Thus if possible, you'd better change the schedule of your next flight.
