From Huangshan to Ningbo and then to Putuanshan

There is no direct bus or train between the two.

You may take a bullet train to Hangzhou East from Huangshan North Railway Station. The train departs at 13:50, and the trip takes about 3 hours. Then, take a bullet train to NB Railway Station (about 1 hour). The trains are available from 6:37 to 21:48, and the trip takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival, take a bus to Shenjiamen from the nearby South Bus Station. The buses are available from 5:55 to 22:00, and the fare is CNY 52. Afterwards, take bus line 6 to Banshengdong Wharf, and take a ferry to Putuoshan.

Or, you can take a bus to Hangzhou from Huangshan Xinguoxian Bus Station. The buses depart at 6:40, 7:00, 8:00, 14:15, 15:30, and 16:30. The fare is CNY 110. Then, take bus line b4 to Wulin Square, and change to metro line 1 to Passenger Transport Center Station. Afterwards, take a bus to Shenjiamen (about 5 hours). Upon arival, take bus line 6 to Banshengdong Wharf, and take a ferry to the mountain.

I am sorry that there is no bus or train departure in the evening. So, you are advised to set off earlier. Good luck! :)
