About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Does 144 hour transit visa free apply if I go over to Nanchang from Shanghai

Peter from Australia, plan to fly from Johannesburg to Shanghai and then to Sydney, can I go to visit Nanchang from Shanghai using 144 hour transit, then return to Shanghai and fly onto to Sydney. Thanks

Peter, no, you cannot visit Nanchang when you make use of the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
