About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing to Seoul

Hello I'm American and I wanted to visit Beijing. IF I use the 72 hour thing is it okay if I have a ticket booked to Seoul. Is that going to be okay? Regards, Steven

Steven, if you travel like USA-Beijing (72 hours)-Seoul, you will qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.

Ahh I see what you mean if I'm coming from USA it works, but if I'm coming from Bangkok then no it will not work you are saying.

Dear, no, it’s not what I mean. If you travel like Bangkok-Beijing-Seoul, you can also enjoy the 72 hour free transit. Your travel route should be like country A-Beijing-Country B.
