About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a flight from SFO -> Wuhan, China -> BKK. I have US citizenship.

Hello,
Am I eligible for the transit visa if my first flight to BKK has 3 hour stop in Wuhan and my flight departing back to SFO has an 8 hour one?

Please advise.
Thank you!

If so, you will qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Wuhan for both legs of your trip. Nice journey!
