About:Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen Ferry

My flight is United airlines from HKG to SFO with departure at 11:15AM.

My flight is United airlines from HKG to SFO with departure at 11:15AM UA862. Would you suggest the 7:15AM or 8:45AM ferry from Shekou Port to HK airport? Also, will I be able to check in my luggage at the Shekou Port for my UA862 flight? Lastly, if I need to change the time of the ferry ticket, will I receive a full refund without penalties or fees? Both 7:15AM and 8:45 are OK as the ferry departure should be 2.5h before the scheduled flight departure, 7:15 is safer. Passengers of United airlines need to check in their flight and luggage at SkyPier of HKIA. Ticket changing online is not acceptable and I'm not sure if there is a service fee when changing on-site.
