Hi, I am visiting Shanghai for 8 hours on a cruise in March 2017 do I need a visa

If the cruise ship will go to a third country or region after staying in Shanghai, you may be able to use the 24 hour direct transit, but if you enter and leave by the same cruise ship, you’d better confirm that with the cruise ship company.
