About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a flight from Honolulu, layover 3 hours in Peking, then to Handa. My flight back from Haneda

Flight back from Handa to Honolulu has a layover 14 hours in Peking, then to Honolulu. Do I need a Visa. I will not leave airport.
