What is the best tourist stop from harbin to beijing for stop over shenyang or changchun west before heading back to beijing

Personally speaking, I think Changchun is OK and you may also think about Qinhuangdao, Shanhaiguan etc. But if you need to stop at these cities first before Beijing, you need to buy the ticket separately instead a ticket from Harbin to Beijing directly.
