About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I want to fly Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)-> Shanghai -> Frankfurt and then use the 144hrs free visa.

Is this possible as Malaysia is not mentioned in the list of countries (I am German nationality).

Angela, the list of countries refers to those countries which are eligible for the free transit. Because you hold Germany passport, you will qualify for the free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that.
