Applying for Chinese visa - Turkish citizen living in the Netherlands

Hi,
I live in the Netherlands but I am Turkish citizen (holds a Turkish Passport). I need to go to China for a business trip for a week.
1- How long does it take to have the visa?
2- Which documents I need to submit with the application?

I checked website of China consulate of Turkey, it seems very confusing. The required documents:

1- Invitation Letter from the company in China (wet signature & Stamped)
2- Invatation Letter should be confirmed by the mayor formally (??)
3- ID of the person who wrote the invitation

I am not sure how true is that, each website says different documents.
I would appreciate if you can help.

1. Ekin, usually, it will take 4 working days.
2. You need to provide your passport, the application form, a bareheaded color photo, your residence permit in Netherlands, an invitation letter from your trade partner in China. Maybe an invitation of a duly authorized unit will also be needed and your trade partner can get it for you. Usually, the invitation letter issued by your trade partner is the first one you mentioned above, and trade partner may also needs to provide copy of his/her ID card. The second document you said above is an invitation of a duly authorized unit I mention here. Because you will apply for it in Netherlands, the required documents may be a little bit different, I cannot tell you for certain.; Answered by Ekin Kolbas from Netherlands | Nov. 04, 2016 08:12

Hi Kelvin,

Thank you for your fast response, I heard that I can only apply visa from Turkey since I am citizen of Turkey. Is that true? Do I need to go back to Turkey and do the process there?
