About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Taipei-Shanghai Pudong-Sweden

Hi,
I hope this rule is also applicable on flights originating in Taiwan with a 5 days stop-over in Shanghai? Or are flights originating in Taiwan handled differently? All segments are on the same flight ticket with Air China.

Mats, if you will travel like that and stop in Shanghai for 5 days, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. Your flight can originate in Taiwan. Just relax!
