About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

30 days fri Visa Sweden ?

Hi, I wonder why Sweden is not among the 47 countries that have a 30-day visa-free stay in China? At least maybe 14 days would be enough and you would be very appreciated. Thanks for the answer in advance!

It is not a secret that only Sweden, Czechia and Lithuania are the countries that were not exempt from the Chinese visa policy out of 27 EU countries. If you just take a look at the behavior of the governments of those countries toward China, you will immediately understand the reason for the current visa situation. In any case, you can still use 240 hour visa free transit scheme, but you have to ensure that the immediate points before and after mainland China are located in two different countries or eligible territories (Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau). If you decide, have a nice visit to China.
