About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sweden citizen (Vietnam born) to Hong Kong

Is this route possible for the 240 hours visa:
Sweden to Shanghai with one flight ticket => then one flight ticket from Shanghai to Guangzhao => travel to Shenzen by train and then finally crossing the boarder to Hong Kong with pre-booked hotel in Hong Kong?

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit. You should just take care to fulfill the following two details. The first is that your total time spent in mainland China should be longer than 24 hours. Second, even before your departure from Sweden toward China, you will have to buy your train ticket from Shenzhen to Hong Kong. Simply speaking, you have to have a proof that you will be really in a transit through mainland China and the train ticket that will take you out of mainland China to Hong Kong is exactly that detail. I will add that it is very convenient to have your hotel booked for the first overnight in China because you will be asked for your address in China. In any case, you can proceed with your travel plans with absolute peace of mind. I wish you a pleasant journey.
