About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do i need a visa or can i use 72 hours free transit

I am a british citizen, i am going on a cruise on Princess Cruise from Beijing travelling to shangai. I am staying in beijing for 3 days which is included in the package.I am returning back to Beijing after 28 days to catch my flight back to UK.

thanks for the prompt reply..another scenario i was born in Mauritius hence I have a Mauritian passport will I be allowed to enter Beijing without a Chinese visa.
Would be very greatful in you can clarify this for me.

Yes, Mauritius passport holders are allowed to enter China freely for a stay of not more than 30 days. Thus, if you hold Mauritius passport, you don’t need to apply for a visa for your trip.
