About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

I am planning to book a ticket from tel aviv to manila, and it has a layover in china.

because i am travelling with different airlines. it said that i may need to get a visa for my transit in shanghai. i have a philippine passport and in the past i did not need a transit visa during my layovers. the lay over is about 6 hours and i am not getting out of the airport, but i will be arriving in terminal 1 and depart from terminal 2 and both are from different airlines. i am also responsible for collecting and rechecking my baggage. do i really need a visa?

About this question, you are suggested to consult your airlines. If they have luggage check through service, you don't need to collect the luggage. If not, you need to collect them first and go to T2. Then the following procedures are Joint Inspection, Quarantine, Immigration, Go to International Arrival Hall 3F for boarding.

Thank you!! Do you think this can be the reason why i would need a visa to pass through? As i have checked in luggage.
