Need visa for layover?

My son has a Canadian passport and I have a Philippine passport, our trip is from Vancouver to Manila with a 19hour layover in Shanghai Pudong Airport.
We plan to go out of the airport to have a quick visit to Disneyland, during layover.

You don’t need an entry permit for that because you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit there. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office inside the airport and then you can leave the airport and have a quick visit to Disneyland.
