About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flight from JFK with stopover in Beijing then to Hong Kong

Leaving JFK on Jan 26 with stopover in Beijing going to Kong Kong. Leaving Hong Kong four days later with 11 hour stopover in Beijing then to JFK. Do I need a Visa?

Laura, you don’t need it because you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing on your way to HK, and you can utilize the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing on your way back to USA.
