About:China Transit Visa

12 hour layover

We are leaving from Paris Charles De Galle airport and heading back to Australia and have a 12 hour layover at Beijing PEK. Do we need a visa to leave the airport or do we just go to immigration with our connecting flight ticket?

Hi Jessica, you don't need the transit permit. You can just go to the immigration counter with your connecting flight ticket and a passport to apply for a temporary stay permit.
