My flight plan is this: NRT - PVG - NRT - LAX - PHXFrom PVG, I have a 2 hour layover in NRT before I fly to LAX.  Will I be eligible for the 72 hour visa?Thx

Greg, if so, you won’t be eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai because you will fly back to Japan even though it’s just a 2-hour layover. You need to apply for a tourist L type in advance. Or you can fly to LAX directly after staying in Shanghai.
